In the days of the Tokugawa Shogunate, the sword is the law maker, the peace keeper, and the protector of homes. Under the rule of Tokugawa Ietsuna, the people are defined by classes, the most prestigious being the samurai. Though Japan if at peace, malice begins to stir among the gods. Amatsu Mikaboshi, the god of evil moves to bring the earth into a reign of black terror. Meanwhile. A swordsman rumoured to be the greatest student of Yagyu Jubei trains to destroy evil at all costs. Wait for the perfect time to strike and then slice down your enemy before they hit you. This game tests your reaction time.
