Virtual Police is an "on-rails" shooter (much like Virtua Cop). Some evil gangsters have taken innocent people as hostages. You've to infiltrate into the enemy zone and shoot down all the baddies and rescue the hostages. Kill all the enemies on the screen to progress. The faster you kill, the more points you get. Head shots give bonus points. Be careful not to shoot civilians!

At 2200 hours the City Bank was taken by Terrorists, no doubt to steal money for funding their cause. These are cop killers; you have permission to shoot them on sight. There are still employees of the Bank inside the building that the Terrorists are holding hostage. It is imperitive that the civilians are not harmed. Good Luck!

The genome war rages, and terrorism is as real as it gets. Will you be the top cop that saves the world?

Use mouse to aim and left click to shoot.

Press spacebar to load one bullet (without powerups) into the revolver.

Kill all the enemies on the screen to progress. The faster you kill, the more points you get. Headshots give bonus points. Be careful not to shoot civilians!

In Easy Mode you lose a life if you are hit and you have recovered from the last attack.

In Hard Mode you lose a life every time you are hit. If you lose all five lives you can use a credit to continue playing. If you have no more credits it is Game Over.

Note that there is a short rest period after a continue. To hurt the Bosses, you must shoot their weak point.

Bosses have more health and deal more damage on harder skill levels (and are much more difficult to beat).
