FRogue Game Description

Your goal is to retrieve a powerful amulet located at the bottom of the dungeon. You must fight your way past hordes of monsters to reach your goal. Along the way you will find many items which may help or harm you; some are mundane, but many others are magical. As you battle on, you will grow in experience and stamina. Only with a mixture of skill and luck will you make your way back out with the Amulet in your possession.

The dungeon is 26 levels deep. Each level consists of a 3x3 grid of rooms connected by hallways. You will also encounter traps, secret doors, and stairs leading down to the next level. After you descend the stairs they are sealed, and you may not use them to ascend unless you possess the amulet.

You move your character around by using the keyboard. The current movement keys can be viewed and changed in the Controls Menu. If you hold down a key, you will continue moving in that direction.
