Mario World Overrun Game Description

Bowser and his army destroyed your bank and took every coin. He's headed this way to capture the princess. Relax. I'll handle Bowser and his army. There's a weapon store on a nearby hill. I'll take cover there. Have someone get Mario while I take out as many enemies as I can. Stay here and look out for incoming enemies. Defend your castle against all the enemies from Mario's World and rescue the Princess! Select your weapon loadout and then protect your castle.

Defend your castle from the many creatures and enemies in Mario's World get turrets stronger plasma rifles and more guns.

Firing
Use the mouse to target enemies.
Click on the LEFT MOUSE BUTTON to fire your weapon

Switching Weapons
Press the A key to switch to your next weapon
Press the Q key to switch to your previous weapon
You can also use the numbers 1 through 5 to switch weapons.

Switching Items in your Inventory
Press the S key to switch to your next Item.
Press the W key to switch to your previous Item.
Press the SPACEBAR to use the current item.

Your inventory shows your current item.
There are four types of items. The first two are bombs and
mines. When one of these is selected and you press
SPACEBAR the bomb or mine will fall from your crosshair
to the ground.

Switching Items in your Inventory.
The last two items in your inventory are turrets. The 1st is the ground mounted turret.

If you select this item, a transparent turret will be shown on the ground and will follow the mouse position. If you move the mouse to the right of the screen the turret will point to the right and visa versa. Once you picked a spot press the SPACEBAR to plant the turret.

The castle-mounted turrets behave the same. The only difference is that you can place the turret along the wall of the castle. Pick a side and a height and press SPACEBAR.

limitations
For performance purposes you can only have a maximum of four turrets at a time. After a turret takes enough damage or runs out of ammo it will self destruct.
Also, You can't place more than six mines at a time. Wait for a few to explode and then keep adding.

The castle
Your objective is to defend the castle. Your mines and turrets don't damage the castle, but your gun does (Note than in easy mode you can't damage the castle at all).
The castle can be repaired and even strengthened in the weapon shop.

Pausing
You can pause the game by pressing P. You can only pause while in combat and not while in the weapon shop. In the pause menu you can change the game settings like the graphics, sound, music, and even remap the controls There is also button to the main menu in case you want to start over

The weapon shop
Here is where you buy your weapons. Use the coins that you collect from the enemies to buy new weapons or repair the castle.
Place the mouse over an item in the weapon shop to see a description. Click on that item to buy it.

Recap
Press #'s 1 through 5 to switch weapons or Q and A.
Press W and S to select an item in the inventory and press SPACEBAR to use it.
Press P to pause the game and change the game settings.
